Maistic's compostable bags are produced from plant residues from food production. This is 2nd generation waste that would have been burned or otherwise disposed of.
Maistic 2.Gen Compostable food bags are certified compostable which means they are completely biodegradeable in your own compost bin at the required temperature and approved for food contact. These bags contain no harmful plasticisers like traditional plastic.
The Maistic food bags are suitable for cold storage, freezing and storage at room temperature in general.
The bag material is meant to decompose at a certain time to make rich soil, not damage the soil. It’s part of an organic lifestyle, and good for the environment and your health!
